Our Core Beliefs
"Faith plus nothing" is a phrase that means salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, without any human works, rituals, or merit being added. It is a core tenet of Protestantism's Reformation theology, emphasizing that justification by grace through faith alone is a gift, not something earned by good deeds. While faith alone is the basis for Salvation, this does not mean works are unnecessary, as true saving faith is often considered "alive" and will demonstrate itself through changed priorities and actions. - (Ephesians 2:8-10 and Romans 3:27-28)
What We Believe
Our statement of faith is grounded in the belief that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible word of God, and it is the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We believe in the Holy Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as the one true God. There are three "absolutes" in this life, which are, "For all have sinned, and come short of the the glory of God, Without faith, it is impossible to please God, and without the shedding of Jesus' blood at Calvary, there is no remission of sin." - (Romans 3:23, Hebrews 9:22 and Hebrews 11:6)
If our core beliefs resonate with you and you are seeking a community that shares your faith, we gladly invite you to join us in our mission to spread the message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection. Together, we can engage in meaningful discussions, worship, and outreach activities to positively impact our community.
- (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
